Painted Button Head Rivets

Painted button head rivets are blind rivets that are used to fasten two products and feature a painted head to create a customized or enhanced look or to make the rivets less visible. Painted pop rivets provide a permanent and vibration-resistant hold and are set using a handheld rivet tool.
 
Blind rivets painted head have a range of applications including installing signage or nameplates, creating custom designs, and for use with painted or colored metals. A benefit of using pre-pained head blind rivets over attempting to paint the rivets yourself is that you don’t have to worry about getting excess paint on the mandrel or body, both of which could clog rivet setting tools.

Painted Button Head Rivets Create a Custom Look for Fastening Applications

Painted pop rivets provide the same reliable fastening as standard blind rivets while providing an improved or customized look for your components.  To ensure material compatibility and prevent galvanized reactions, select a painted head blind rivet that matches your application material. You should also select rivet with a grip range that falls within the thickness of your material to ensure the rivet is properly deformed when its installed.

Aluminum/Aluminum Dome Head Blind Rivet

Painted button head rivets featuring a painted aluminum body and aluminum mandrel. Aluminum is a lightweight, non-sparking material that resists corrosion. Aluminum painted pop rivets are available in the following options:
  • Sizes: 4-2, 4-3, 4-4
  • Grip Ranges: 0.063-0.125, 0.126-0.187, 0.188-0.250
  • Lengths: 0.25, 0.313, 0.375
  • Colors: Black painted, white painted
 

Steel/Steel Zinc Cr+3 Dome Head Blind Rivet

Steel painted pop rivets from RC Fastener feature a painted steel body and steel mandrel coated in zinc Cr+3 to provide the high tensile strength of steel with the added benefit of corrosion resistance. Our steel painted button head rivets are available in the following sizes and options:
  • Sizes: 4-2, 4-3, 4-4
  • Grip Ranges: 0.063-0.125, 0.126-0.187, 0.188-0.250
  • Lengths: 0.25, 0.313, 0.375
  • Colors: Black painted, white painted
